Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain clogging of a through hole with a frame member due to deformation thereof caused by hot press.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a fuel battery single cell includes (i) a step of preparing a MEGA plate and two separators for holding the MEGA plate, and (ii) a step of forming the fuel battery single cell by laminating and hot-pressing the MEGA plate and two separators. The frame member of the MEGA plate has a through hole formed between a manifold opening and an in-plane opening. In one of the two separators, a recess where a width of a bottom face is smaller than a length of the through hole is formed at a position on a line crossing the through hole of the frame member, in a plan view. The through hole is provided, at a position corresponding to the bottom face of the recess, an amplifier for increasing the width of the through hole. The frame member is pressed at a position of the amplifier by the bottom face of the recess, in the step (ii).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
