Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a honeycomb structure capable of improving mechanical properties and preventing cracks or the like from propagating.SOLUTION: A raw material composition is prepared from ceramic particles having peaks in three ranges of a particle size distribution range of 0.1 μm or more and 1.0 μm or less, a particle size distribution range of more than 1.0 μm and 15 μm or less, and a particle size distribution range of more than 15 μm and 100 μm or less, which are measured by a laser diffraction method. A manufacturing method of a honeycomb structure is characterized by manufacturing a honeycomb structure made of porous ceramics using at least a molding process, a defatting process, and a baking process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
