Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hot melt adhesive obtained by chemical recycling of a waste material of polyurethane or an unsaturated polyester, especially a method capable of desirably recycling a waste material of a polyurethane-based composite material such as synthetic wood and the like or an unsaturated polyester-based composite material to be utilized as a resin molded product.SOLUTION: The method comprises: an amine decomposition step of making a waste material of polyurethane or a waste material of an unsaturated polyester into an amine decomposition product; an amic aid forming step of making the amine decomposition product into a polyurea-amic acid or a polyamide-amic acid; and an imidization step of making the polyurea-amic acid or the polyamide-amic acid into an imide compound. In the imidization step, the polyurea-amic acid or the polyamide-amic acid is thinly extended and heated. Preferably, a reaction temperature in the imidization step is adjusted to a temperature higher than a reaction temperature in the amic acid forming step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
