Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method, with which an ink jet recording medium having especially few cracks and enough ink absorbing capacity can be manufactured with an excellent productivity.
At the manufacturing of the ink jet recording medium through the coating of a coating liquid on a support, the coating liquid is produced by mixing a pigment particle dispersion and a water-soluble polymer under the condition that the pigment particle dispersion is kept at 50°C or lower during the manufacturing process of the medium.
