PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inorganic material, capable of vitrifying an inorganic composition in a shorter time to reduce a manufacturing time.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an inorganic material obtained by chemically reacting two or more kinds of inorganic compounds by mechanical treatment comprises the steps of: preparing an inorganic composition including the two or more kinds of inorganic compounds; crystallizing the inorganic composition by heating the inorganic composition; and vitrifying the inorganic composition while chemically reacting the two or more kinds of inorganic compounds by mechanically treating the crystallized inorganic composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
