To provide a manufacturing method, of an intermediate transfer belt for electronic photography, which enables sufficient inhibiting of the interference by a reflected light on an interface of a surface layer/a belt base material and a reflected light on the surface of the surface layer, and adequate securing of an absolute amount of light of the reflected light.
This manufacturing method is to manufacture the intermediate transfer belt for electronic photography which has a belt base material molded of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin, a solid lubricant and polyetherester amide as a conducting material, and a surface layer formed on the belt base material. In addition, the manufacturing method comprises a process to mold a preform 104 from the thermoplastic resin composition, a process to mold a bottle-like molded object from the preform, a process to prepare the belt base material from the bottle-like molded object, and a process to form the surface layer on the belt base material surface.
