Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decrease the quantity of a residual org. elution component, by introducing a functional group, after at least a part of the solvent is removed after a crosslinked copolymer is brought into contact with the org. solvent. SOLUTION: This crosslinked copolymer contains as a component element a repeating unit represented by the formula, wherein R is a 3-8C alkylene group or a 4-8C methylene oxyalkylene group, Z is a halogen atom, hydroxyl group, a toluenesulfonyl group, or thiol group, and benzene ring A may be replaced with an alkyl group or a halogen atom. As a solvent to be brought into contact with this copolymer a 6-8C arom. hydrocarbon or ethers are available. As a functional group to be introduced to the copolymer is, e.g. and anionic substitute group, to this copolymer, a method in which ammonia or an amine is reacted and replace the substituted group Z with an amino group or ammonia group can be encplayed.
