Abstract:
To reduce a manufacturing cost of laminated veneer lumber and improve workability.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of laminated veneer lumber comprises: a first process in which when veneers A1 or the like are taken out from a stacking group 7 or the like divided by quality and are joined in a fiber direction, twenty seven bonded regular-sized veneers 13, 15, 17 which are produced by cutting with a length L1, are stacked and bonded in the production order, and thereby, the laminated veneer lumber is formed, a veneer is so selected that a regular-sized bonded veneer having a required quality is obtained in each layer and taken out, and the bonded regular-sized veneers are stacked on a floor board 75 in the production order; a second process in which when the bonded regular-sized veneers are taken out from a top and are stacked every nine sheets thereby forming first, second, and third bonded regular-sized veneer groups 93, 95, 97, a thermosetting resin adhesive is coated onto one of the bonded regular-sized veneers by a spreader 79; a third process in which each bonded regular-sized veneer group is heated by a hot press 49; a fourth process in which when the bonded regular-sized veneer groups are so stacked that the bonded regular-sized veneers in each layer become in the production order, a normal temperature curing type resin adhesive is coated onto one of the bonded regular-sized veneer groups; and a fifth process in which the bonded veneer groups are left until the adhesive is cured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
