To provide a manufacturing method and a mold which enable manufacture of a homogeneous molded article of a large adhesive strength from lignocellulose and also enable further simplification of a manufacturing apparatus thereof and easy and inexpensive automation of equipment.

The mold 1 has a constitution wherein a male form 2 and a female form 3 are fitted and supported by a support 4 so that they can move vertically. A primary molded article 7 made of the subdivided lignocellulose is inserted into the mold from an opening part 6 opened by rotating a connecting rod 5 and it is pressed, clamped and locked at the clamping position by a locking mechanism provided for the mold. The mold 1 holding the primary molded article 7 can be moved, as it is, to each manufacturing process.
