Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of lithium-chromium-manganese oxide of a layered structure for a lithium secondary battery having a composition: Li[CrxLi(1/3-x/3)Mn(2/3-2x/3)]O2 (0.1≤X≤0.5).
SOLUTION: A uniform fine settling is formed by adding lithium hydroxide (LiOH) aqueous solution to an aqueous solution in which chromium acetate hydroxide (Cr3(OH)2(CH3CO2)7) and manganese acetatete tetrahydrate ( (CH3CO2)2Mn-4H2O) are mixed. By burning the above fine settling, a parent oxide powder of a composition Li[CrxLi(1/3-x/3)Mn(2/3-2x/3)O2 (0.1≤x≤0.5)] is formed. By heating at high temperatures the above parent oxide powder, a lithium-chromium-manganese oxide for forming the oxide powder having a layered structure is manufactured.
