To enable enhancing fluidity of a molding material in a mold while preventing over-heating of a thermoplastic resin, and reduce the deformation amount of such as warping of a thermoplastic resin composite material being a molded product.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a thermoplastic resin composite material according to the present invention includes: a preliminary molding step of kneading a thermoplastic resin and a reinforced fiber under a heated condition, extruding the kneaded material through an opening 15a with a prescribed shape, and molding a preliminary molded product 5 having a cross-sectional shape following the shape of the opening 15a; and a press molding step of clamping the preliminary molded product 5 in a mold to mold the thermoplastic resin composite material with a prescribed shape. A first width W1 of the opening 15a corresponding to a clamping direction 6 of the preliminary molded product 5 is non-uniform over a second width W2 of the opening 15a in a direction crossing the first width W1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
