Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metal-carbon particle composite material having a high thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a metal-carbon particle composite material comprises steps of: applying and drying a coating liquid 5 containing flaky graphite particles 1 and a binder 2, to a coating scheduled face 10a of a metal foil 10, and drying the same thereby to obtain a coated foil 12 formed with a flaky graphite particle layer 11 on the coating scheduled face 10a of the metal foil 10; forming a laminate in the state having a plurality of coating foils 12 laminated; and jointing and integrating the plurality of coating foils 12 by heating the laminate. The average particle diameter of the flaky graphite particles 1 is 100 μm or more in a circle corresponding diameter of the plane direction of the flaky graphite particles 1. At the step of acquiring the coating foils 12, the coating of the coating liquid 5 on the coating scheduled face 10a of the metal foil 10 is performed such that the coating quantity of the flaky graphite particles 1 is 0.1 to 22 g/m.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
