To provide a manufacturing method of a metal-carbon particle composite small in anisotropy of physical properties such as heat property.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a metal-carbon particle composite has a process for obtaining a coated foil, in which a carbon particle layer is coated on a surface for coating of a metal foil, a process for forming a preform 40 at a state that a plurality of the coated foils are laminated, a buckling process for buckling deforming the preform 40 by compressing the preform 40, and a sintering process for sintering the preform 40 by heating the preform 40 with compression.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
