Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a metal member capable of improving yield.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a metal member includes: a drawing process for forming a bottomed cylindrical section having a bottom section on one side and an opening section on the other side in a metal plate-like member; a piercing process for forming a hole section in the bottom section; and a burring process for expanding the hole section by a burring punch inserted from the opening section side so as to deform the bottom section into a cylindrical shape. A chamfering process for compressing an inner peripheral edge section 111 on the hole section 110 side of the bottom section 101 so as to form a chamfer 122 having a larger diameter toward the opening section 103 side in the inner peripheral edge section 111 is executed between the piercing process and the burring process.
