Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a metal oxide porous membrane having high crystallinity connected in three dimensions even under a sintering temperature below a melting point of an oxide, and a dye-sensitized solar cell using the metal oxide porous membrane for a semiconductor electrode.

The method of manufacturing a metal oxide porous membrane incudes a first step of forming a metal oxide layer consisting of a flux containing metal oxide particles and an alkali metal compound on a substrate, a second step of heating and sintering the metal oxide particles at a temperature of a melting point or lower, and a third step of eliminating the flux from the obtained sintered compact.
