Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a design property and a landscape property to a pipe surface, by directly forming a spiral three-dimensional pattern excellent in durability on the pipe surface.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a metal pipe, a molding roller is arranged on the outer periphery of an element pipe, and the molding roller is moved for advancing-retreating in the pipe radial direction to the rotating element pipe, and a surface of the element pipe is spinning-processed by passing through a pass process of relatively moving the molding roller and the element pipe in the pipe axial direction, and in the manufacturing method of the metal pipe, the pass process is passed through by 2 times or more, and both processing pitches of the molding roller are set to 7 mm or more in its final two pass processes, and a three-dimensional pattern is formed on a surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
