To provide a manufacturing method of a multiphase liquid detergent composition in which an insoluble component can be stably formulated in each phase.
The multiphase liquid detergent composition, which forms a surfactant phase (I) containing a nonionic surfactant (a) and an aqueous phase (II) containing a water-soluble inorganic salt (b) and water (d), is manufactured through a step (1) of dissolving a compound (c), that has a solubility at 25°C against both the surfactant phase and the aqueous phase of the mixture composed of only (a), (b) and (d) of less than 1 g/L, to a solvent or a mixed solvent (X) compatible to (a), a step (2) of homogeneously mixing the solution (Y) obtained by the step (1) with (a), and a step (3) of mixing the mixed liquid obtained by the step (2) with the remaining components of the composition.
