Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nickel powder capable of providing a high performance nickel powder at low cost with connected inhibition of the nickel particle, and also achieving a sulfur coat treatment, even when using a wet process.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a nickel powder having a crystallization process for obtaining a nickel crystallized powder by a reduction reaction in a reaction liquid by mixing at least a water-soluble nickel salt, a salt of more noble metal than nickel, a reductant, alkali hydroxide, and a sulfide compound with water, in which the reductant mixed in the crystallization process is hydrazine (NH), the sulfide compound contains one or more sulfide group (-S-), percentage of molar number of the sulfide compound based on molar number of nickel in the reaction liquid is in a range of 0.005 mol% to 3 mol%, and the nickel crystallized powder is surface modified by sulfur derived from the sulfide compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
