Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing toner used for a non-magnetic one-component developing method, and capable of obtaining image characteristics of high quality from an initial stage to a life end.

As for the non-magnetic one-component developing toner manufacturing method comprising at least a classification process of classifying the mixture and fine pulverized matter of binding resin, coloring agent and charge control agent so as to attain the prescribed particle size distribution and an external addition/shifting process of mixing additive agent into the classified matter and shifting the mixture after the classification process, the classification process is performed by using a classifying device for dispersing the toner in an air current and classifying the toner by using a centrifugal force, and the classifying device is placed under an environment of 10 to 28°C and 15 to 70%RH, and also, the air of 10 to 28°C and of 15 to 70%RH is replenished as the classifying air current.
