Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for an optical lens by which manufacturing time is shortened and an optical lens with the desired profile accuracy and appearance is obtained, the optical lens manufactured by the manufacturing method, and also to provide a manufacturing method for a mold by which manufacturing time is shortened and a mold with the desired profile accuracy and appearance is obtained, and the mold manufactured by the manufacturing method.

When the maximum surface roughness Rmax at the time of finishing a finish cutting process (namely, at the time of finishing a shape creation process) is set to ≤0.010 mm, and the refractive power of the surface of the optical lens is made as DA and that of the surface in design as DF, it is set to [DA-DF]≤0.25. A level difference near the inflexion point formed on the surface of the optical lens is set to ≥0.0005 mm and ≤0.005 mm except a surface roughness component.
