Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable organic EL element that can be manufactured through easy processes, by adjusting resistivity of a positive hole transport layer made of an inorganic oxide.
The organic EL element includes: a substrate; a pixel electrode formed on the substrate; a division wall formed covering an end of the pixel electrode; the positive hole transport layer having the inorganic oxide formed by performing a baking treatment on the pixel electrode under reduced pressure or in a non-oxidizing atmosphere; an organic light emitting layer formed on the positive hole transport layer; and an opposite electrode formed on the organic light emitting layer.
