To provide a manufacturing method of a high-quality organic electroluminescent display device in which an emission color failure caused by the mixing of light-emitting materials between pixel regions is prevented, damage to a light-emitting layer in the pixel region is prevented, and the unevenness of a thickness of the light-emitting layer between the pixel regions and in the pixel regions is reduced.
In the manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent display device, a light-emitting layer 56 is formed by injecting a light-emitting layer drop 54 containing a light-emitting material into the pixel region 30 demarcated by banks 31 on a substrate 3, and the manufacturing method comprises a soluble solution coating process in which a solvent drop 52 having viscosity lower that of than a light-emitting layer drop 54 is coated on the whole region of the pixel region 30 and a light-emitting solution injecting process in which the light-emitting layer drop 54 is injected into the pixel region 30 coated with the solvent drop 52 by the soluble solution coating process.
