Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for an original plate for a planographic printing plate, dispensing with dampening water, enhanced in flaw resistance of a silicone rubber layer of a laser irradiation part, dust adhesion resistance and handling properties.

A cover film laminated on a silicone rubber layer laminated on the original plate for the planographic printing plate dispensing with the dampening water formed by laminating at least a photothermal conversion layer and the silicone rubber layer sequentially on a substrate is separated on a processing machine and the original plate for the planographic printing plate dispensing with the dampening water is simultaneously subjected to winding processing into a roll shape. Preferably, the tensile strength in the longitudinal direction (MD) of the cover film is set at 140 MPa or more.
