Abstract:
To realize a manufacturing method capable of providing an outer ring for a radial ball bearing capable of securing practically sufficient accuracy even when finishing after hardening treatment is omitted.
An intermediate material 10 for the outer ring obtained by cold rolling is put in a hardening furnace along with a die 11 in a state fit in and supported by a support hole 13 provided in the die 11 used in the cold rolling. By this, the number of work procedures is reduced, the die 11 is used as a die for deformation prevention, and deformation following the hardening treatment is prevented in the intermediate material 11 for the outer ring. By such a configuration, the problem is solved.
