Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a permanent magnet capable of obtaining high magnetization characteristics even when multipolar magnetization is performed on a rare earth iron magnet having magnetic anisotropy.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a permanent magnet includes a magnetization step of magnetizing an object to be magnetized by a magnetizing device 1 including a magnetic field unit 6 in which a plurality of magnetizing permanent magnets that generate a magnetic field for a magnetized object 100 are arranged at regular intervals, and a heating unit 4 that has a heating surface 4a facing the magnetized object in the axial direction of the magnetized object and heats the magnetized object. In the magnetization step, the magnetized object is placed on the magnetic field portion, and the heating unit heats the magnetized object to a temperature above the Curie point of the magnetized object and below the Curie point of the magnetizing permanent magnet, and then the magnetized object is heated so as to be cooled to a temperature below the Curie point, and a magnetizing magnetic field is applied to the magnetized object by a magnetizing permanent magnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
