Title:
MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR PIGMENT-SENSITIZED WET SOLAR CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002246076
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for a pigment-sensitized wet type solar cell having high photoelectric transducing efficiency, by increasing an adsorbed amount of a sensitizing pigment on the surface of an oxide semiconductor electrode.

When the pigment is adsorbed on the surface of the oxide semiconductor electrode 4, the electrode 4 formed on a transparent substrate 1 and a transparent conductive film 2 is put in a vessel 7 and installed in a vacuum chamber 8. When a pigment solution 15 is poured into the vessel 7, after the inside of the vacuum chamber 8 has been evacuated, the electrode 4 is immersed into the pigment solution. By evacuating the vessel 7 once with the electrode 4 installed, before immersing it in the pigment solution, gases such as air remaining in fine holes of the electrode 4 can be removed efficiently. By immersing it in the pigment solution after the evacuation, since the pigment solution can easily enter the parts from which the gas has been removed as well, the pigment can be adsorbed in the fine holes of the electrode 4.
