Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a plasma display panel in which a sealing frit that has large asperity can be formed in a single coating process.

When forming a sealing frit layer 12 on a rear face substrate 11, the frit material in which the viscosity is 70 Pa × second is used. Then, a scanning rate of a dispenser head part 6 is set in the range of 30 mm/sec or more and less than 80 mm/sec in a thick film region 13, for example 40 mm/sec, and in a thin film region 14, the scanning rate of a dispenser head part 6 is set in the range of 80 to 150 mm/sec, for example 120 mm/sec. Furthermore, in the thick film region 13, an injection pressure of the sealing first material is made in the range of for example, 50 to 100 kPa, and in the thin film region 14, the injection pressure is set in the range of for example, 6 to 15 kPa.
