Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a plastic member and a method for manufacturing a composite container that enable various functions and characteristics to be imparted to a container.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a plastic member, the method is for manufacturing a composite container having a preform and the plastic member adhered to an outside of the preform by being mounted around the outside of the preform and heated together with the preform as an integral part, and the method comprises: (1) a step of heating and melting a resin material containing a cross-linkable resin; (2) a step of extruding the heat-melted resin material to obtain an extruded product; (3) a step of expanding the extruded product; and (4) a step of applying an active light beam to the expanded extruded product to perform cross-linking of the cross-linkable resin, in which the plastic member is a heat-shrinkable tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
