To provide a method of manufacturing, at high productivity, a polarizing plate with an adhesive where a protective film is stacked on one surface of a polarizing film, an adhesive layer is stacked on the other surface, and occurrence of curl is suppressed.

The adhesive with a release film formed by laminating the release film on one surface of the adhesive layer is stacked on the polarizing plate formed by laminating the protective film on one surface of the polarizing film so that the surface of the adhesive layer side faces the surface of the polarizing film side of the polarizing plate. At this time, the water content of the adhesive layer is kept at 1.0 or higher, which is expressed by the value of a ratio to saturation water content of the adhesive layer at 23°C and relative humidity of 55%.
