Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a polyimide belt capable of preventing surface unevenness, a swelling and waviness (circumferential wave) of a belt.
The manufacturing method of the polyimide belt comprises: a process of heating and drying a polyamide acid-containing solution to produce a tubular precursor belt that is cured to the extent that it can be held as a belt; and a process of inserting a support having a surface roughness (Ra) of both the edge portions of not less than 3.0 μm in the inner surface of the precursor belt, heating and polyimidizing the precursor belt.
