Abstract:

To provide a polymer particle having a narrower particle dimensional distribution in a heterogeneous polymerization reaction such as emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization using, a cyclodextrin.

This is a manufacturing method for a simple dispersible polymer particle in a water base system where a hydrophobic monomer is polymerized by a free radical polymerization or a copolymerization in the presence of a cyclodextrin, wherein the free radial polymerization is carried out by adding the monomer semi-continuously, and in the presence of no monomer at the beginning of the reaction, and less than 30 wt.% total solid content is present in the water-base system.
