To provide a manufacturing method of a polyurethane foam exhibiting excellent moldability and having homogeneous and fine cells, and the polyurethane foam.
The manufacturing method of the polyurethane foam comprises a step for feeding a first raw material composition comprised of a polyol, gas-loaded with a gas that has solubility, in a polypropylene glycol of a molecular weight of 2,000, higher than a nitrogen gas but lower than carbon dioxide at a ratio of 1-50 vol% based on the first raw material composition and a second raw material composition comprised of a polyisocyanate into a mixer, and a step for injecting the mixed raw material compositions into a mold from the mixer. The polyurethane foam has closed cells and has a thickness of at least 10 mm, where the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the density of the polyurethane foam is at most 0.05 g/cm3.
