PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a pore arrangement structure, where pores are arranged with high definition, with high throughput.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a pore arrangement structure, where a large number of bottomed pores are formed, in a predetermined pattern, on the surface of a metal thin film, includes a step of extracting a metal thin film continuum, a coating step of coating the extracted metal thin film continuum with a protective agent, forming a protective agent layer for protecting the surface of the metal thin film, in a predetermined pattern, and a step of taking up the metal thin film continuum on which the protective agent layer is formed. The coating step is carried out by using a protective agent supply roller for supplying the protective agent, and a transfer roller in contact with the protective agent supply roller, receiving the protective agent supplied from the protective agent supply roller, and transferring to the metal thin film continuum in a predetermined pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
