Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a positive current collector which can form uniform high resistance layer by reducing dispersion in the resistance of the high resistance layer in each positive current collector which is used for a NAS battery which composes an same set battery. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the positive collector forms the high resistance layer by preparing a felt-like matrix comprising of carbon fiber or graphite fiber, stacking a cloth-like body or a cotton-like body comprising of glass fiber on the surfaces of one side in the matrix, and implanting the cloth-like body or the cotton-like body into the matrix with a needle punch. The needle punch is performed so that the total reflection light intensity relative value of the high resistance layer comes to be 25-43 if the total reflection light intensity relative value of the surface in the cloth-like body or the cotton-like body stacked on the matrix is 100.
