Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a powdery and granular carbonized material useful for an active carbon and the like by effectively processing vinyl chloride-based resin waste materials such as wall papers, artificial leather products, and building materials of which the proper disposal method has not been established enough except land reclamation.
The manufacturing method of the powdery and granular carbonized material is characterised in that the vinyl chloride-based resin waste materials containing calcium carbonate and a ligneous fibrous material are heated to be dehydrochlorinated, and the residue is washed with an aqueous solution, and then, heated to be carbonized.
