To provide a method of manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet capable of improving dimensional accuracy of a molded body and productivity by means of highly fluidal granules.
The method of manufacturing the rare earth sintered magnet includes: a step of granulating primary alloy particles of a predetermined composition by means of a first organic liquid and a second organic liquid with a higher saturated vapor pressure than that of the first liquid; a step of removing the second organic liquid from the granules; a step of casting the granules with the second liquid removed into a mold cavity; a step of applying a magnetic field to and pressure-forming the granules to obtain a molded body GB; a step of removing the first organic liquid from the molded body GB; and a step of sintering the molded body GB with the first liquid removed. Removing the first organic liquid can reduce a deformation volume (maximum width - minimum width) of a sintered body SB.
