Title:
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RESIN-COATED ALUMINUM SEAMLESS CAN BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3794265
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a resin-coated aluminum seamless can body at high speed which is ecofriendly and excellent in can characteristics such as corrosion resistance.
SOLUTION: A lubricant is applied to a resin-coated aluminum plate 4 which is formed by coating both sides of an aluminum plate 1 with thermoplastic polyester resin 2 and 3. This resin-coated aluminum plate 4 is drawn to form a cup body 5. The cup body 5 is ironed by a punch 10 and ring dies 26, 27 and 28 in one stroke in a dry state to continuously manufacture a seamless can body 60 at high speed. The surface temperature of the punch 10 is kept in an appropriate temperature within a range of 35-100°C by circulating cooling liquid in the punch 10. Before continuous manufacture, heating liquid kept at appropriate temperature (B°C) in a range of 35-70°C is circulated in the punch 10, and immediately before or after starting the continuous manufacture, the liquid circulated in the punch is switched over cooling liquid with appropriate temperature not higher than B°C in a range of 15-70°C, for ironing operation.
