To provide a method of efficiently manufacturing a resin-coated metallic plate having the surface of a metallic plate coated with polyolefin by simplifying a process and further the plate with good accuracy in a breadthwise direction, and to provide the resin-coated metallic plate manufactured by the method.
The manufacturing method of the first invention includes a step of heating and melting a mixture containing at least polyolefin and unsaturated carboxylic acid by a first extruder 3 to synthesize modified polyolefin, a step of extruding the modified polyolefin R1 from a T-die 11 for forming a single layer attached to the first extruder 3 in a molten state and cooling to solidify it to form a single film of the modified polyolefin, and a step of coating the surface of the metallic plate M1 with the single film. The steps are successively performed thereby manufacturing a resin-coated metal M2.
