Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manufacturing method which can prevent that an axial force for pressing an inner ring by a caulking part is deviated with respect to a circumferential direction of the inner ring, in a rolling bearing unit having a structure for pressing the other end face of the inner ring constituting a hub in an axial direction by using the caulking part which is formed at the other end part of a hub main body in the axial direction.SOLUTION: A hub main body is intermittently rotated by an index mechanism 39, and a caulking molding mold 38 is made to cyclically reciprocate in an axial direction of the hub main body by an oscillation mechanism 37. By this constitution, only when the hub main body is not rotated, a caulking part is formed by pressing a processing face of the caulking molding mold 38 to the other end part of the hub main body in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
