To provide a manufacturing method for scroll type compressor with an easy assembling capable of carrying out a positioning of a stationary scroll and a rotary scroll by making respective basic circle centers coincident and enhancing a processing accuracy.

A through hole 4c axially penetrating through a space between a bottom surface 4d of a lap groove of the stationary scroll 4 and a discharge chamber is provided and a recessed part 5e opposed to the through hole 4c is provided on a mirror plate 5a of the rotary scroll 5. Both scrolls 4, 5 are engaged and integrally formed by inserting a positioning pin 11 to the through hole 5c and the recessed part 5e. A positioning means for restricting a position deviation in a rotation direction each other is provided on an outer periphery of the mirror plate 4a of the stationary scroll and a main frame. After the stationary scroll 4 is fixed to the main frame by a plurality of bolts, the positioning pin 11 is removed.
