Abstract:
To provide a self-lubricating plain bearing consisting of a comparatively light bearing element member with the opposed sliding contact face that the surface coarseness is improved.
It is furnished with a self-lubricating liner 4 and a bearing element member 5 having the opposed sliding contact face 6 to slide and contact with the self-lubricating liner 4. The bearing element member 5 is the titanium alloy that has the nitride dispersion layer on the opposed sliding contact face 6 and the opposed sliding contact face 6 is the self-lubricating plain bearing that has the surface coarseness of less than 18 nano-meter CLA.
