Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-permeable membrane support medium for a membrane separation active sludge treatment, which is high in strength and excellent in adhesive property to a frame material and which is strong against impact shocks and excellent in adhesiveness to the frame material.SOLUTION: A semi-permeable membrane support medium for a membrane separation active sludge treatment is characterized in that a polyester polymer is applied to the substrate or a wet type sheet making non-woven fabric having been subjected to a thermal calendar treatment. It is preferred that the glass transition point of the polyester polymer is -30 to 85°C, and it is also preferred that a polyester polymer is applied to the substrate by an impregnation method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
