Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a separator for a fuel cell capable of making compatible high conductivity in a power generation part and high corrosion resistance in a non-power generation part.

A metal plate having conductive inclusions in metal structure is bright-annealed and surface-treated for projecting inclusions from the surface of a power generation part to make the surface of the power generation part conductive, an oxide film is formed on the surface of the non-power generating part by bright-annealing to give corrosion resistance. Passivation treatment may be conducted on the surface of the non-power generation part to form a passivation film.
