To provide a manufacturing method for a sidewalk block composed of a base layer and a surface layer on which a pedestrian can comfortably walk without anxiety, and the sidewalk block.
The sidewalk block is composed of the surface layer which comes into contact with the pedestrian's shoes, and the base layer for supporting the surface layer, and has an integrated structure constructed by cementing aggregate of the surface layer and that of the base layer, respectively, the surface layer of the sidewalk block with the integrated structure is subjected to polishing treatment with an abrasive means of a mesh number of 36-180, and subsequently subjected to shot blasting treatment; and a coefficient (s) of static friction is set at 0.5 or more in dry and wet states. The manufacturing method for the sidewalk block, and the sidewalk block are characterized as above.
