Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the promotion of uniformity and equalization of the hole capacity after the process of sintering, by performing the operation of mixing and stirring under a condition of reduced pressure in s specific range, when fabricated a slurry or paste from carbonyl nickel powder and water solution of carboxy methyl cellulose.

CONSTITUTION: A slurry or paste, made by mixing a carbonyl nickel powder 1 and a water solution 2 of carboxy methyl cellulose as a binder, is applied to the core material to a prescribed thickness, after being dried, with a sintering processed to construct a nickel sintered substrate. When preparing this slurry or paste, an operation of mixing and stirring is performed under a reduced pressure in a range from 400∼760mmHg. In this way, an air, infiltrated into a finely rough portion of the nickel powder, can be removed, thus a uniformity and equalization of the hole capacity can be made after a process of sintering.
