Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method for manufacturing a slit nut having an extremely-small slit which maximally exerts a retention effect of the nut by a double-nut by a simple method.SOLUTION: First and second nut raw materials 1, 2 have the same-diameter lower holes 1b, 2b, and a cylindrical protrusion 1c sharing the lower hole 1b is formed at an end face 1a of an abutment part. A circumferential recess 2c to which the protrusion 1c of the first nut raw material 1 is fit is formed at an end face 2a of an abutment part, being the recess 2c in which a tip face 1d of the protrusion 1c abuts on a bottom face 2d of the recess 2c is formed at the fitment. The first and second nut raw materials 1, 2 make the protrusion 1c and the recess 2c fit to each other at the abutment parts 1a, 2a, and form a continuous screw 3 by pressure-molding in a state that the end faces 1a, 2a of the first and second nut raw materials 1, 2 abut on each other. Screws are formed at the lower holes 1b, 2b in advance up to dimensions D' smaller than a trough diameter D at the screw completion of a slit nut 100, and finally, the screw 3 continuous to the first and second nut raw materials 1, 2 is manufactured by pressure-molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
