PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a speaker diaphragm for a wooden speaker excellent in stable quality and mass-productivity.
SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of speaker diaphragm includes the steps of: (a) adhering a nonwoven fabric or Japanese paper on one surface of a wooden sheet to make the wooden sheet to be an adhered sheet; (b) providing an approximately V-shaped notch to the wooden sheet; (c) wetting and softening the wooden sheet, and impregnating a lubricant to the wooden sheet, the lubricant acting to keep water in the wooden sheet; (d) overlapping edge portions of the notch so as to be latched and kept in an approximately horn shape and applying a first hot press molding to the overlapped parts to tentatively mold them in an approximately horn shape; (e) drying the wooden sheet; (f) incorporating a thermosetting resin into the wooden sheet, (g) half-drying the wooden sheet; (h) applying a second hot press molding to the adhered sheet wherein the thermosetting resin is in a half-drying state; (i) applying a moisture-proof agent to the wooden sheet; and (j) removing a center hole for a voice coil and periphery from the wooden sheet to make a speaker diaphragm having a predetermined dimension and shape. Moreover, a weight appropriating step (g1), a propagation speed appropriating step (h1), a release agent impregnating / drying step (h2), and a third hot press molding step (h3) are added to the manufacturing method.
