Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing bean sprouts using safe bactericides in substitution for chlorine and increasing useful materials such as vitamin C, etc.
The method for manufacturing bean sprouts comprises a first step swelling seeds for bean sprouts by soaking them in a water containing sodium bicarbonate, a second step germinating the seeds in a dark place, and a third step irradiating the seeds in the second step with a red colored light.
