To provide a manufacturing method for a spiral corrugated wire capable of costlessly and continuously manufacturing a spiral corrugated wire having a bending strength and a faborable quality.
A plurality of displacement pieces 33 provided with a pressing face 34 pressurizing the wire and the displacement pieces are arranged parallel to each other in the moving direction of the wire. The manufacturing device is provided with a piece-fixing body 12 capable of adjusting the fixing position of the displacement pieces 33 and a rotating device rotating the piece-fixing body 12 around the rotary center axis O parallel to the moving direction of the wires. After pitches between respective displacement pieces and the displacement 6 of respective displacement pieces 33 from the rotary center axis O are set in advance, while moving the wires to the piece-fixing body 12 at a specified feed speed, the piece-fixing body 12 is rotated in a specified number of revolution to impart a force to the peripheral face of the wire by the pressurizing face 34. In this way, the spiral wire curved in a corrugated fashion can be continuously manufactured out of a coiled wire.
