Abstract:
To improve agitation performance for molten glass passing through nearby the center of a flow passage cross section of an inflow entrance to flow in an agitation tank by improving an agitation stirrer.SOLUTION: An agitation stirrer 12 comprises a shaft 13 and a plurality of agitation blades 14, and swivels the plurality of agitation blades 14 around the shaft 13 as the shaft 13 rotates to agitate molten glass in an agitation tank 6, wherein the agitation blades 14 each have a through opening part 14e, an upper frame 14a, a lower frame 14b, and a first coupling part 14c and a second coupling part 14d coupling both frames 14a, 14b, and are arranged so that when the shaft 13 rotates, the upper frame 14a is delayed in phase around the shaft 13 by θ1 behind the lower frame 14b, and also arranged so that when the shaft 13 rotates, an upper frame 14a of an upper agitation blade 141 between two agitation blades 14 adjacent in a shaft length direction is delayed in phase around the shaft 13 by θ2 behind an upper frame 14a of the lower agitation blade 142.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
